01 / The job
Cameras placed where they actually help.
Most disappointing CCTV systems have the same problems: cameras mounted too high to see faces, Wi-Fi cameras that drop out, and recordings that only go back a few days. We start with where people come and go, such as the front door, driveway, side gates and back entry, and position each camera for what you need it to capture.
Every camera runs on its own PoE cable back to a recorder installed on site, so there are no batteries to charge and nothing depends on your Wi-Fi. Storage is sized to go back weeks, not days. Cabling is run and terminated out of sight rather than taped down a wall.
Before we leave, the system is set up on your phone and we walk you through finding and saving footage. We supply and install complete systems for homes and small commercial premises, and every CCTV job is quoted to suit the property.

Asked often.
Do the cameras need internet to work?
No. The cameras record to a recorder installed on site, so recording carries on even if your internet drops. Internet is only needed to view the cameras on your phone while you are away.
Do you charge for quotes?
Quotes for planned work (switchboards, EV chargers, splits, rewires and electrification) are free and given in writing after we've been on site. Fault finding is charged, because the diagnosis is the work; we'll tell you the call-out rate on the phone before we book anything in.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. NPJ Electrical Services is a Registered Electrical Contractor, REC 29126, with full public liability cover, and we issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety for every job. Our licence and ABN are in the footer and on every quote we send.
